No network interface found Intel Dual Gigabit Ethernet LAN ports (1x Intel® i217LM & 1x Intel® i210AT)

tyring to install esxi vsphere, have a supermicro x10slq with what is listed as

Dual Gigabit Ethernet LAN ports

    (1x Intel® i217LM & 1x Intel® i210AT)

getting the error message no network interface found. I've tried searching for anwsers, no luck.  could someone assist.
